The Posey Legacy
Our organization honors the life and legacy of Gerald Posey, a noble friend, veteran, and mentor. Serving his country and community with pride, Posey dedicated nearly 25 years of his life in the U.S. military and was a true reflection of discipline and excellence. In his youth, he was named a McDonald's all American and throughout his life,
he embodied the values of good character, responsibility and intelligence. After retiring from the military, Posey aspired to become a motivational speaker. Always ready with a word of encouragement, it is in the spirit of his vision that we are grooming young men for success sports and life.

two decades, Crawford encourages mentees
while setting high expectations for their performance.
Coach Bryant Latimer
A former Division 1 player and McDonald’s All American, Bryant Latimer, knows firsthand what it takes to excel in the game of basketball. The devoted father and mentor enjoys building the confidence of Team Posey players, and they benefit substantially from his 15 years of high school and youth coaching.
Charles Cooley
A dynamic leader, supportive father, and experienced businessman, Charles Cooley serves as a mentor and Team Posey committee member. With strengths in relationship building and project management, Cooley excels at gathering
support for our organization while serving as a well-rounded role model for our mentees.
