Team Posey is a 15U team and youth mentorship organization delivering diverse year-round programming for basketball and life skills. Founded in 2025, it is our goal to provide educational and expansive experiences,
ensuring our mentees are equipped to become disciplined leaders, confident athletes, and positive contributors to society.

We believe that integrity, respect, and accountability are fundamental for success, and we model these principles daily while encouraging our mentees to do the same.
Education
We prioritize the development of life skills and provide consistent opportunities for youth to increase their knowledge through our workshops, mentorship, and year-round programming.
Discipline
Through athletic training and structured character development activities, we teach the necessity of dedication, self-control, and perseverance for long term success. We guide mentees in finishing what they start, eliminating excuses, and pushing through obstacles. Likewise, we celebrate their milestones allowing them to experience the reward and satisfaction that comes from following through.
Excellence
We believe the highest level is the standard. Our mentors encourage Team Posey players to strive to live a lifestyle of greatness. This fosters a culture of continuous growth for our mentees.
Giving Back
We understand the importance of community and believe it is essential for community members to exercise social responsibility. We teach our mentees to be positive contributors in their families, neighborhoods, and communities, and we work alongside them in service activities that shape their character while expanding their outlook on life.
Why It Matters
As former athletes and seasoned coaches, we love a good game of basketball– but as devoted fathers– we know there is more to teach than just how to succeed in sports. As future leaders, husbands, and fathers, boys need values that guide them on the journey to manhood. Likewise, they need mentorship they can count on. We take pride in knowing we are laying the foundation for boys to mature into well-rounded young men, and we hope that you consider joining us in supporting them as well.
