The Highest Level is the Standard
The programs we develop align with our mission to build the character and skills of mentees. Utilizing a holistic mentorship approach that combines physical training with real life education, we are growing the scope of what is possible for program participants.
AAU Competition Program
Team Posey’s AAU Competition Program allows mentees to compete in 10 regional and national tournaments annually. Through a team culture that fosters a family atmosphere , we grow the skill and sportsmanship of our players.

Athletic Training Program
Team Posey’s Athletic Training Program focuses on agility and conditioning and is offered in 12 weekly sessions to support players in maximizing their in-season performance.
Life Skills Program
Team Posey’s Life Skills Program offers workshops that empower mentees to make
positive life choices. Workshops include, but are not limited to:

Education & Exposure Program
In addition to its workshops, Team Posey’s Education and Exposure Program focuses on growing the knowledge of mentees through traditional and nontraditional learning experiences. Through assigned reading, structured bonding, and team exercises, we impart life skills in the following areas:
- Health, Nutrition, and Wellness
- Planning
- Overcoming Fear
- Goal Setting
- Time Management
- Managing Peer Pressure
In addition to education, this program focuses on individual and team exposure for college recruiting.
Prioritizing Individual Development
Team Posey players each receive an Individual Development Plan (IDP) for the year. This tool is used to guide mentees in improving their basketball skill and attaining their non-athletic personal goals. Focusing on skill work in the in-season and life skills, strength, and conditioning during the off-season, Team Posey IDPs hold players accountable for their advancement while empowering mentors to monitor and support their progress.
